Rise & Shine Day Program
Shine Tallahassee’s Rise & Shine Day Program operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM - 3 PM.
We intentionally create opportunities allowing outward expression to shine forth from each individual’s inner beauty by way of art, music, movement, gardening, cooking, drama and more!

Friday Night Shine - Our Monthly Social Event Program
Shine Tallahassee strives to provide an environment to champion individuality and build self-esteem. For one Friday a month, a themed event is held to do just that.
These themed nights include live music. karaoke, dance, games, crafts, a message of faith, as well as fun snacks.
These events are ALWAYS FREE and are intended to serve those with any developmental disability, ages 14 and up. Past themes have included Hoedowns, Disney Night, Santa Breakfasts, PJ Party, Circus Night, Luaus and so much more!
These events are supported by our loving partners at Genesis Church, who graciously provide their sanctuary located at 4070 Mission Road, Tallahassee, FL 32303.
Night to Shine - Our Premier Yearly Event
Night to Shine is a prom for people with special needs ages 14 and over at the Tallahassee Automobile Museum. Guests will be celebrated with a red carpet, crowns and tiaras, corsages and boutonnieres, dancing, dinner, photo booths, karaoke and the VIP treatment. The vision is to provide an unforgettable night full of faith, hope and love for our amazing friends with special needs. This event was designed by the Tim Tebow Foundation and is produced 100% by the partnership of Genesis Church & Shine Tallahassee, Inc.
